SOLD - Byzantine Empire, AV solidus, Constantine IV (668-685 AD), Constantinople mint, mounted Christ-side out in 18K gold bezel. 7.52 grams total. Diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine IV facing slightly to right, bearded, holding a spear in his right hand / Cross potent on three steps between standing figures of Heraclius on left and Tiberius on right; both crowned, wearing chlamys and holding a globus crucifer in their right hands. Custom square-sided bezel with large bail, a lovely setting for a well-detailed portrait coin in UNC grade
