This beautiful silver Cob was minted at the Potosi mint by Assayer Quadra (Q) between 1613 and 1616. The obverse Bears the royal shield and crown of Philip III of Spain. To the left is the mintmark P, below which is the Assayer‘s mark Q. To the right of the shield is the denomination II in Roman numerals. The reverse features the beautiful crusaders cross with lions and castles. The coin is mounted and a wonderful heavy three dimensional Galleon gold bezel. It is part of the original Motherload division of 1985, and as accompanied by the original certificate as issued by Treasure Salvors, Inc. Just six months or so ago a grade 2 two real with NO bezel was selling at the Fishers in Key West for $3600. They have gone up since then with the anticipation of the 400th anniversary on the sinking of the Atocha. This coin is valued at right now just over $5000 for just the coin, thus making this one is a bargain at only $3695
