Beautiful emerald crystal recovered from the 1715 Spanish plate fleet off the Florida East Coast. This emerald weighs 3.5 carats. It is a medium green color and was recovered from the mines in Colombia. This quality is very rare. It is mounted in a three dimensional octopus style 14 karat yellow gold bezel with a bale at the top. The overall size of this beautiful artifact is about the size of a US quarter. It has the original certificate as issued by the finder Randy Harville. Exceptional.
