Product Description
From the Meerensteyn Shipwreck
of 1702 which sunk off the South African coast. A coin clump
containing one or two coins each, probably all Dutch ducatoons, fully encrusted
as found. It weighs an impressive 42 grams. Thick clumps made of corroded
coins and different types of detritus. With original (generic) certificates
from the salvagers. Recovered in 1978.
